Day 01
Arrival and Exploring Old & New Delhi
Your journey begins with your arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. After a transfer to the hotel, we’ll dive into the city’s rich history. We’ll explore the grand Mughal administration center, the Red Fort, and the beautiful Jama Masjid. We then pay our respects at Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, and visit the majestic India Gate & War Memorial. The evening concludes with a visit to the magnificent Akshardham Temple to enjoy its famous sound, laser, and light show.
Day - O2
Discovering the Landmarks of Delhi
After breakfast, we embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi. We will drive past the President’s House and Parliament House, visit the Indira Gandhi Museum, and explore the vast collection of ancient art at the National Museum. We’ll also visit the serene, lotus-shaped Lotus Temple, the towering Qutub Minar (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and the beautiful Humayun’s Tomb. The day ends with a chance for some shopping at the bustling Sarojini Nagar Market.
Day - 03
Journey to Agra and the Iconic Taj Mahal
This morning we depart for Agra (220 km / 4 hours). Upon arrival, prepare to witness the world’s most iconic symbol of love, the Taj Mahal, built by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife. We will also explore the massive red sandstone Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site that offers a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of the Mughal emperors.
Day - 04
Fatehpur Sikri & the Pink City of Jaipur
After breakfast, we depart for Jaipur (255 km / 5 hours). En route, we’ll visit the fascinating Fatehpur Sikri, a perfectly preserved Mughal ghost city. Upon reaching Jaipur, we will drive past the city’s signature landmark, the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). We will then visit the royal residence of City Palace, the ancient astronomical observatory of Jantar Mantar, and the beautiful white marble Birla Mandir. You’ll also have time to explore vibrant local markets.
Day - 05
Royal Forts of Jaipur & Departure
Our final day begins with a visit to the grand hilltop fortress of Amer Fort. On our way, we’ll stop for photos of the beautiful Jal Mahal, a palace set in the middle of a lake. We will also explore the extensive collection of artifacts at the Albert Museum. After sightseeing, we proceed back to Delhi (300 km / 4 hours) for your transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
